A LITTLE BIO, Y'ALL!
My Story
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jenna Katherine has been passionate about music from a young age. Her love of music began at the age of 4, with her first concert (Carrie Underwood), a moment that inspired a lifelong admiration for Underwood and ignited Jenna’s dream of becoming a singer-songwriter. Although Jenna began writing songs at the age of 10, it wasn’t until she penned her original song “Friend Zone” in 6th grade that she truly recognized her talent for songwriting. That early experience inspired her to continue developing her skills in writing, singing, and playing guitar.
Over the years, Jenna has had the opportunity to perform alongside respected Texas Country artists, such as Bri Bagwell, Sarah Hobbs, Matt Caldwell, Jason Allen, Brian Black, and Marcus Eldridge. She has also had the privilege of working with industry professionals like Stormy Cooper Media (Roger Creager) and Lyndon Hughes (The Wilder Blue), who have become very important mentors in her musical development.
In addition to her music career, Jenna is in her sophomore year at Texas State University, where she has earned a spot on the Dean’s list each semester while balancing her studies with musical aspirations.
In 2019, as a freshman in high school, Jenna recorded her debut EP Sugar & Spice with Stormy Cooper and his team at Stormy Cooper Media. Then on Christmas Day 2020, she released “Sugar & Spice” to all streaming platforms, marking a major milestone in her career. Since then, Jenna has continued working hard on new music, in October 2024 she released two new singles “Finger on the Trigger” and “Tennessee Dreaming,” which are available on all streaming platforms.
Jenna is currently focused on writing and recording her next project, which she hopes to release next year. In the meantime, she remains dedicated to her craft and has much more new music in the works. Whether she’s on stage performing, in the studio recording, or simply writing her next song, Jenna Katherine continues to follow her passion for music, with her sights set on an exciting future in the industry.
